Bio

Amy's first husband was Mr. Wood. They had one daughter, Elsie. Her second husand was John McCullough. They had six children. John McCullough died in 1858. She married William Smiley about 1859 and had two more children. Her death certificate listed her father as Jacob Colfax born in Holland and mother as Elsie McGraw. Marriage record listed her name as Amy Chronkwright. Married 1847 in Ontario Canada to John McCullogh (spelling on certificate.) 1925 Iowa state census of son, James, listed his mother as Amy Cronkwright born in Canada and married in Canada.
