THE PARIS MORNING NEWS, Saturday, September 25, 1909: ‘Della Beatrice, the infant daughter of Tom Canada, who lives below Roxton, died at 8 o’clock yesterday morning of gastric enteritis at the home of C. J. Jenson on North 34th street. The mother of the infant died about six months ago, leaving the baby only a few days old. Just before her death she requested that her sister, Mrs. Jenson, take the infant to raise, and the latter had been taking care of it. The remains were sent to Roxton yesterday afternoon for burial by the side of the mother.’ From Rodgers & Wade Furniture Co.
