Eileen marreid Aelred Bernard "Al" Tunink on February 26, 1957 at Sacred Heart Parish in Norfolk, Nebraska. They are the parents of Randall, Rhonda, Bradley, Sharalyn, Rodney, Sandra & Raquel. Eileen and Aelred divorced by 1982. ----------------------- Eileen's obituary was added to her memorial on 10-26-2022 ------Judy Johnson Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen M. Tunink, age 84, of Norfolk, Nebraska will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. Rev. Matt Niggemeyer will be celebrant with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brockhaus-Howser-Fillmer Funeral Home in Norfolk, with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil. She died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. Eileen Marie (Siebrandt) Tunink, daughter of Frederick and Lillie Ann (Tichota) Siebrandt, was born April 11, 1932, at Beemer, Nebraska. S he attended school in Rosalie, Nebraska. On February 26, 1957, Eileen was united in marriage to Aelred Bernard Tunink, at Sacred Heart Parish in Norfolk. Seven children were born to them, Randall, Rhonda, Bradley, Sharalyn, Rodney, Sandra, and Raquel. Eileen was employed at Roman's Packing, and then she was a cook at school, Becker's, Norfolk Country Club, Nucor Steel, Immaculata Convent (during marriage encounter weekends) and various nursing homes. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Eileen's family was very important to her, including her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved cooking for large family gatherings and holidays. Eileen is survived by her children, Randy Tunink, Rhonda (Dave) Heineman, Brad Tunink, Sharalyn (Patrick) Fowler, Rodney (Catherine) Tunink, and Raquel (Troy) Pfannenstiel; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Loraine (Kenny) Sachs, Marvin (Bernice) Siebrandt, Vernon (Donna) Siebrandt, and Frederick Siebrandt. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Lynn; her parents; siblings, Richard (Alice) Siebrandt, Virgil Siebrandt, and Dale (Charlene) Siebrandt; an infant brother and sister; and daughter-in-law, Laura Tunink.
