Christiane Suzanne Baumbach, 90, of Columbus, Texas, passed away on October 20, 2018 in Columbus, TX. She was born on December 18, 1927 to Andre DeLalande and Raymonde DeLalande in Lavallois-Glerret, France. In 1948 she married Lambert Frank Baumbach. Christiane was a beautician in France before marriage and then was a homemaker. Christiane is survived by her daughters Dorothy Robb of Columbus, TX, Nora Butler Brunner and husband Wayne of Columbus, TX, Linda Wooddell and husband Jimmy of Columbus, TX, and daughter Irene Gallaher of Columbus, TX, grandchildren Larry Kech and wife Jeana, John Kech and wife Abby, Tracy Hughes, Jake Butler and wife Amber, Renee Weaver and husband Casey, Joseph Baumbach, Christy Gallaher, great-grandchildren Kourtney Kech, Kristen Kech, Emily Kech, Sidney Butler, Paige Butler, Austin Gallaher, Derek Gallaher, Penelope Weaver, Oliver Weaver, Eithan Baumbach, and Jaiden Baumbach, and great great-granddaughter Alice Gallaher. She was preceded in death by her husband Lambert Baumbach, her parents Andre and Raymonde DeLalande, grandchildren Christopher Baumbach, Brian Wooddell, Jesse Wooddell, and Yvonne Blair. There will be a private family burial in Fayetteville City Cemetery in Fayetteville, TX. Memorials may be given to Hospice Brazos Valley, 1048 North Jefferson.
