Bio

According to his obituary, George Wyche joined the 28th Regiment of the Georgia Volunteers. They were also known as the Confederate Invincibles. He enlisted on 10 Sep 1861 and was promoted to Full Sergeant. He sustained wounds at the Battle of Seven Pines in Henrico County, Va. in early June 1862. Treated at Chimborazo Hospl, Richmond, Va. Burial site is unknown.
