ROHR, Robert L. Age 90 of Kettering, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. Bob was born in Dayton on April 9, 1926. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frieda Rohr, 4 brothers, Richard, Donald, Eugene, and Kenneth; sister, Roberta Worley, and grandson, Nathan Guy. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joan; children, Nancy (Michael) Guy and Andrew (Danette) Rohr; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and sister, Francis Swank. Bob proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He retired from Frigidaire after 35 years, was a Captain on the Kettering Fire Dept. Volunteers for 30 years and retired from David's Cemetery after 25 years. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45429 and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Burial David's Cemetery.
