Janda, 66, of La Grange were held June 7 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange with Monsignor Harry Mazurkiewicz officiating. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery. Janda died June 5 at Fayette Memorial Hospital in La Grange. She was born June 29, 1932, in Park Community near Fayetteville, Texas, the daughter of Fred and Sophie Kaspar Vasek. Janda was united in marriage with Bohus Janda on Sept. 20, 1954, in Fayetteville. She was a member of the KJZT, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Plum Altar Society. She was affiliated with Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Plum. Janda was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband, her mother, Sophie Vasek of La Grange; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Lee and Connie Janda and Bohus and Laurie Janda, all of La Grange; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Milton and Beatrice Vasek, and Bennie Vasek, all of La Grange; and five grandchildren, Lucas, Jeremy, Lara Beth, Brittany and Haley Janda, all of La Grange.
