John Henry Jones was born in August 1846, in Alabama. His parents were John F. Jones and Sally Davis. John Married Nancy G. Patterson, and after she passed, he married Margaret C Reynolds on 26 Oct 1876, in Angelina, Texas. John passed away on April 7, 1929, in Gypsy, Harrison, West Virginia, United States. The children of John Henry Jones and Nancy G. Patterson were: Laura May (Jones) Wood Elizabeth Riller (Jones) Hulvey Grover Cleveland Jones Obituary: "John H. Jones, 82, died at 7 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his son John Jones Jr., of infirmities due to old age. Another son, Cleveland Jones, lives in Oklahoma. There are two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hulvey, who also lives in Oklahoma, and Mrs. Anna Pitney, of Gypsy. Funeral Services were held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home. Interment was made at the Masonic Cemetery at Shinnston, with the Harmer Undertakers in charge.
