Fred L. "Dad" Calvert, 82, a retired salesman, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at a Lake Worth care center. Fred L. Calvert was born June 11, 1922, in Baird. He was a lifelong area resident and was an Army veteran of World War II. Survived by wife of 19 years, one daughter, one son, three stepsons, and five grandchildren.
