WEATHERFORD - Henry L. Youngblood, 89, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Weatherford. Henry was born on the old home place in Garner on April 24, 1927, son of Lem Henry and Tealye Wright Youngblood. He attended school in Millsap. Henry joined the Army Signal Corp from September 1945 to February 1947, spending most of his tour at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He married Lydia Marie Breeding on October 30, 1947. Henry worked for Southwestern Bell, retiring after 36 years of service. He was a Past Master of the Phoenix Lodge 275. Henry enjoyed 34 years of retirement, traveling the country with Marie in their numerous travel clubs. He enjoyed raising livestock and farming. Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; sons, Michael Lloyd Youngblood and David Allan Youngblood; both parents; and two sisters. He is survived by his oldest son, James Youngblood and his wife, Elda; his daughter-in-law, Debbie Youngblood; grandchildren, Jamie Youngblood, Johnny Youngblood and wife, Stephanie, Heather Holmes, and Holly Mitchell and husband, Jason; great-grandchildren, Jaci and Abbi Youngblood, Hannah Holmes, Aiden, Ally and Avery Mitchell; several nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
