The Abilene Reporter-News," 27 Sept 1971 Mrs. Joseph Fuchs BALLINGER (RNS) - Mrs. Joseph Fuchs, 93, died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday in Ballinger Manor after an extended illness. Rosary will be said al 8 p.m. Monday in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Olfen. Requiem Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Boniface with Father Joseph Walters, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery under the direction of Allen Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. Fuchs was born Helen Seidel Jan. 14, 1878 at Moulton, Lavaca County. She married Joseph Fuchs at Moulton in 1898. They came to Runnels County in 1907 from Milam County and had lived in the Olfen and Rowena communities. Mr. Fuchs died March 4, 1938. Mrs. Fuchs was a member of St. Boniface Church and the Christian Mothers of Olfen and St. Ann's Altar Society of Rowena. Survivors include two sons, Leo Fuchs and Arnold Fuchs both of Olfen; two daughters, Mrs. Charlie Dankworth of Ballinger and Mrs. Paul Halfmann of Rowena; one brother, Frank Seidel of San Angelo; two sisters; Mrs. Paul Biedermann and Mrs. Frank Hoelscher both of Alice; 33 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
