May 30, 1947 - February 20, 2017 Tessa Lee Chessmore, 69, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2017. Tessa was born May 30, 1947, to Sarah Catherine Rice and Roy C. Rice. She married Gerald D. Chessmore on June 23, 1972 and was happily married for 44 years. They raised two children together. She was a full-time homemaker and stay-at-home mom. Tessa was a gentle, quiet woman who enjoyed reading, Sudoku, her cats, art, and gardening. She loved traveling with her family. During her lifetime, she was able to visit England, Italy, Germany, France, Alaska, and Hawaii. Husband, Gerald D. Chessmore; daughter, Carol E. Chessmore; son, David T. Chessmore; sister, Janice A. Lyons; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins
