Graveside service, Hope Cemetery, Wells, TX. Linda was born July 9, 1949 in Orange, Texas, the daughter of the late Estelle (Mooney) and Johnie Wise. She passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 in a local hospital. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a retired teacher and loved to travel. She was the valedictorian of the Hudson High School Class of 1967. She attained her Master's Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Larry Flowers; daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Curtis Hodges; son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Rebecca Flowers; grandchildren, Lexi and Ty Hodges, Fatima, Lizbeth, Marissa and Joseph Flowers; brother, Johnnie Wise; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Jimmy Bryan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lonnie and Amber Flowers and Lloyd and Arlene Flowers; sisters-in-law, Ruth Flowers, Marilyn Pena and Joyce Nottleman; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Taylor Wise; sisters-in-law, Dolores Hall, Willena Wise and Mary Flowers; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wise, and Mr. and Mrs. August Mooney.
