Connie Jo Johnson Brazeal Kersey February 08, 1947 - February 19, 2017 Connie Jo Brazeal Kersey, 70, of DeKalb, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at her residence. Connie Brazeal Kersey of Paris, TX was born on February 8, 1947, to N.E. and Faye Shipman Johnson. She married Russell Kersey on March 14, 2007. She was the DayHab director for Lakes Regional MHMR for many years and was responsible for bringing the bling, blitz, glitter and boas to the annual talent show. She loved her job and all of the clients she was blessed to work with every day. She departed this life on Sunday, February 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Joe David Brazeal, her parents, brothers Johnnie Johnson and Ronnie Johnson and granddaughter Mara Naomi Robertson. She is survived by her husband Russell and children, Tangi Robertson and husband Aubrey of Weatherford, Beverly Reavis and husband Johnny of Paris, Joe Paul and wife Jodi of Little River Academy, and Casey and wife Carrie of Paris and stepchildren Phillip, Hunter, and Hannah of Keller, sister Bonnie Flynn and husband Pete, brother Donnie Johnson and wife Luz and numerous nieces & nephews. Her grandchildren, who she cherished are Colton & Reece Reavis and Bailey Reavis-Robertson, Jenna and Scout Brazeal, Beau and Jack Brazeal, Ty and Max Calanni, Brena, Tessa, Luci, and Seth Robertson. The service will be officiated by Aubrey Robertson. Pall Bearers will be Colton Reavis, Beau Brazeal, Jack Brazeal, Scout Brazeal, Ty Calanni, Max Calanni, Seth Robertson, P.J. Flynn, Matt Flynn & Darren Budzinski. We will miss our mom, Mamaw, wife, sister, & friend every day. She loved her family and friends with such dedication and passion and absolutely adored her grandchildren. The family invites all friends and family to celebrate her with them on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Fry-Gibbs funeral home in Paris, Texas.
