Jerome L. Frana, 76, of Colon, Ne died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Saunders Medical Center in Wahoo. He was born February 3, 1940 in Wahoo, NE to Louis and Mary (Sloup) Frana. Jerome graduated from Cedar Bluffs High School in 1957. On August 8, 1959, Jerome married Rosalie Daul at St. John Luthern Church in rural Malmo, NE. After high school Jerome worked for the Cedar Bluffs Elevator. He spent many years with Hellstar in Wahoo and then he worked for Six-B Manufacturing until his retirement. Jerome enjoyed woodworking and he was known as "Mr. Fix-it" to his family. He is survived by wife of 57 years Rosalie Frana; children: Timothy J. Frana of Meriden, KS, Cynthia (Jim) Bohaty of Colon, Edward A. Frana of yutan, and Suzanne (Norm) Lindgren of Malmo; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: Harold (Vivian) Frana of Cedar Bluffs, Victor (Jean) Frana of Grinnell, IA, and Eugene (Barb) Frana of Cedar Bluffs; brothers-in-law: Bill (Vicki) Dauel of Malmo and Eugene (Debbi) Dauel of Cedar Bluffs; sister-in-law Katherine Stanek of Davis City; many nieces and nephews; and special friend Jerry Wagner of Wahoo.
