Bio
Emily Pope Binford was born in Georgia on August 10, 1837. She is thought to have been the daughter of John L. Binford and Amanda Binford (nee Dismuke). She married Thomas Jefferson Waller on December 17, 1868, in Lee County, Alabama. She was his second wife and the mother of five of his ten known children. Emily's children included Guy Cecil Waller (1876-1943),Ella Robertson (nee Waller) (1878-1957), Patti Eason (later Seabolt) (nee Waller) (1873-1826), Roy Tucker Waller(1881-1959), Thomas Jefferson Waller, Jr. (1869-1952). Emily Pope Waller (nee Binford) died February 5, 1911, and is buried with her husband, Thomas Jefferson Waller, in Pine Knot Cemetery in Lee County, Alabama.
