Janet Davis PAYETTE — Services for Janet Davis, 80, of Payette, who died Sunday of natural causes at an Ontario hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.ni. Thursday at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette, by the Rev. Dwayne Hester, Park Community Church, Oregon Slope. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, with ritualistic rites by the Rebekah Lodge No. 22, Payette. She was born Aug. 24, 1896, at Ansley, Neb., where she was reared and educated. She married Guy A. Davis Dec. 25, 1921, at Burwell, Neb. They moved to South Dakota in 1925 and to Payette in 1941. Mr. Davis died Feb. 6, 1977. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 22, Payette, the American Legion Auxiliary, Payette, the A.O.A. and 4-L Clubs. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ross (Mary Ellen) Whittle, Payette, and Mrs. Louis (Ida Marie) Heidelburger, Oregon Slope; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Powers, Fort Collins, Colo., and Mrs. Agnes Kolin, Ontario; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and a granddaughter. Friends may call from 3 until 9 p.m. today at the chapel, Payette. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
