Millard County Chronicle 11/6/1941 FUNERAL SERVICES Funeral services were conducted in Hinckley, Wednesday for John Gronway Parry, 69, who died at his home Sunday of a heart ailment. Speakers were Patriarch C.R. Woodbury, Samuel Knight, Arthur Reeve and Bishop Morris, who was in charge. Music was furnished by G.M. Wright, Ladd Cropper and a ladies trio. Mr. Parry was born in Cedar City Nov. 13, 1871, a son of Mary Ann and John Parry. He married Clara Bess in the St. George Temple in 1907. They lived in Cedar City until 1920 when they moved to Hinckley, engaging in farming. He is survived by his widow, eight sons and daughters, seven brothers and sisters. Interment was held in Cedar City Thursday.
