Susan K. Sumner, 62, of Forsyth, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at her residence. Services will be private. Susan Kay Sumner was born Saturday, August 23, 1952 in Broken Bow, NE to Richard and Darlene (Benson) Eichelberger. She graduated from Forsyth High School and stayed in Taney County her entire adult life. She worked at the Hagel Garment Factory and became a stay-at-home mom. Later she worked as a waitress in various Branson and Forsyth restaurants. She retired in 2011. Susan was a very happy lady that was friendly and understanding to everyone. Although a little stubborn at times, she was accepting, open, firm and helpful. She liked to read her Bible, grow plants, sew, the Miami Dolphins, NASCAR, and the Kansas City Royals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by two sons, Anthony "Tony" Lee Doolin and Coray James Doolin of Cedar Creek; one daughter, Heather Doolin of Hineston, LA; father, Richard Eichelberger of NE; two sisters, Pam Teel of Middleton, TN, Vicki Roberts of NE and three grandchildren, Carly, Samantha and Marissa Doolin. She is preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Clark Eichelberger. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
