Arnold McDaniel of Mountain View, Arkansas Arnold McDaniel, son of the late Alton and Bernice DePew McDaniel, was born May 1, 1953 in Batesville, Arkansas. He departed this life February 15, 2017 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 14 days. He was united in marriage to Cora Crockett and to this union three children were born. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, uncle, father, grandfather and friend. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Vine Street Baptist Church in Mountain View. He is survived by two children: Arnold A. J. McDaniel and wife Jaci of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Corrina McDaniel of Mountain View; five brothers: Ronnie McDaniel of Mountain View, Henry Day and wife Ruth of Okmullgee, Oklahoma, Chuck Day and wife Jeannie of Mountain View, Boby Day and wife Lisa of mountain View, Danny Day and wife Susan of Batesville; three sisters: Roberta Kelley and husband Henry of Hot Springs, Mary Ginn and husband Dockey of Mountain View, Janie Mingues and partner Marc Meisel of Batesville; nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father: Bill Day; one son: Michael Shane McDaniel; three brothers: Billy Don Day of Eufaula, Oklahoma and Jimmy Darrell McDaniel, Lonnie Joe Day; one sister: Inas Day Trammell Lucy; brother-in-law: Ronnie Trammell and sister-in-law: Susan McDaniel all of Mountain View. A memorial gathering will be held at the home of Chuck and Jeannie Day, 6761 Hwy 5 South, Mountain View, AR 72560, Saturday, February 18 at 4 p.m. Graveside funeral service will be Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Fox Cemetery with Randy Zinn officiating. Arrangements by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Pallbearers: Chris Day, Dustin Balentine, Keith Morgan, Robert Trammell, Dalton Eddington and Johnathan Kelley. Honorary Pallbearers: Dillon Smithee
