Richfield, Utah We celebrate the ascension of Richfield, Utah resident Maxine Orrock Lorensen, having passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 10, 2017, in Monroe, at the age of 95. Maxine Orrock was born September 26, 1921 to Joseph and Fannie Gottfredson Orrock in Richfield. At 19 years of age, she fell in love with Elsinore local, Boyd Lorensen and were married April 26, 1941 before Boyd went overseas to serve during WWII. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Boyd preceded her in death February 27, 1998. They were blessed with two sons: David Michael and Ronald Boyd Lorensen; one granddaughter, Maria Teresa Lorensen Reinfeld. In 2013, her dream of becoming a great-grandmother finally came true with the birth of Sasha Lorensen Reinfeld. Maxine enjoyed gardening, painting, genealogy and most of all, spending summers with family and friends at her cherished Fish Lake. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Boyd; son Mike, and her parents. Her family is grateful for her long and healthy life and that she is now reunited with her loving husband, and son Mike. She is loved and missed. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Richfield City Cemetery.
