US ARMY KOREA Leon "Mort" Novak, age 75, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2007. He was born in Brainard, Nebraska on April 18, 1931 to Charles and Ilva (Morton) Novak. Mort retired in 1996 as President at Horizon Bank in Waverly, Nebraska. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. Mort was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, Humboldt Masonic Lodge No. 40, A.F. and A.M., Sesostris Temple of the Shrine, Scottish Rite Temple, American Legion Post 3, Lincoln Country Club, MaNoMaBu Gourmet Club, and NIBA. Family members include: wife, Tina; daughters, Vicki Lynn Novak, Terri and John Delebo; son, Tyler and Kristen Novak; three grandchildren, Ross and Jack Delebo, Charles Novak; sister-in-law, Marie Novak.
