Daughter of Hillary Curtis Sr, b 1795 SC and Susannah Gulley, b 1797 Virginia. Hillary Curtis Sr was the son of Moses Curtis b Virginia abt 1760 and died after 1830 in Jackson County, Tennessee. Hillary moved his family from Jackson County, Tennessee to Tishomingo County, Mississippi in 1837, migrated from there to Pope County, Arkansas where Hillary and wife Susannah died before the 1870 US census was taken in Pope County, Arkansas. Martha married Davis Pigg on Jan 21 1849 in Tishomingo County. They moved to Pope County, Arkansas. Children: Hillary Curtis Pigg, Presley G. Pigg, Anderson C. Pigg, Henderson Hopwood Pigg, Artamissa Pigg, Rebecca J. Pigg and Roselly M. Pigg. Davis Pigg died and on Aug 15 1867, Martha married Hiram E. Livingston in Yell County, Arkansas. They had two daughters: Martha Permelia Livingston and Jenny Lavinia Livingston. The 1900 US census finds the family living in Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory (Oklahoma). Martha married George W. Littrell. Jenny married Lige Cooper. Hiram died Apr 11, 1895. He and wife Martha are buried in Section 2 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Comanche, Stephens County, Oklahoma. Daughters Martha Permelia and Jenny are also buried at Fairlawn.
