Julia (Judy) Maye Morris of Duncan, 79, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Duncan. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, February 6, 2017, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Rev. Mike McCord and Rev. David Hale officiating. Cremation services have been entrusted to the care of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marlow. Judy was born Wednesday, November 24, 1937 in Tipton to Delmar and Emma Elymiria (Hobbs) Laing. She lived in the Stephens and Grady County area most of her life. Judy met and married the love of her life, Royce Morris, July 28, 1955 in Snyder. The couple had three children. Judy was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother. Her hobbies included being a member of the Chickasaw Nation, spending time with friends and family. Judy managed the El Palacio restaurant for a number of years. She was a member of the Ray of Hope Church. She will deeply missed by her family. Judy was preceded in death by husband, Royce Morris, her parents, brother, Bill Laing and brother in law, Wesley Hill.
