Bio

Anna Margaret “Annie” Sommerfelt, 89, died Monday in a Wichita Falls nursing home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with the Rev. Ivor Koch, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Mrs. Sommerfelt was born July 26, 1903, in West, Texas. She had been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1907. She attended Academy of Mary Immaculate School. She and Rudolph Sommerfelt were married Feb. 7, 1942, in Wichita Falls. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Wichita Falls. Survivors include her husband; and her son, Rudy of Wichita Falls.
