Bio

Mrs. Matt Stadium, who was 86, passed away Monday morning in the Shackelford county Memorial Hospital. She ha been in failing health the past year, and was hospitalized three weeks prior to her death. Funeral was held in the First Baptist Church and burial in the Albany Cemetery. Mrs. Lucretia B. Stadium was born in Hill Country January 3, 1882. She was married in Hill County to Matthew Davidson Staddum on August 21, 1893. He died January 18, 1954. The family came to Shackelford County in 1906, and moved to Albany in 1931, Mrs. Steddum had made this county her home for 62 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
