Obituary - Delia Ann Lowder, 85, of Kellyville passed from this life on Friday, January 27, 2017 at home. Delia Ann Lowder was born to William Eldridge Hightower and Gracie Mae Jackson April 14, 1931 in Westminster, Texas. She grew up in Haskell and Choska Bottom, Oklahoma except for a brief period during WWII when her parents worked at Keiser Ship Yards in Richmond, CA. Delia graduated High School in 1949 in Haskell, OK. She attended St. Paul School of Nursing in Dallas, TX and graduated in 1952. Delia was a RN at Hillcrest Hospital, St. Paul's Hospital, Dr. Lawrence Thompson's office, Nursing Director at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home and school nurse for Kellyville School District. Delia was married to Robert Ridley in 1953 and widowed in 1955. She married Bobby R. Lowder, Sr. in 1959 and was widowed in 2004. Preceded in death by husband's Robert Ridley and Bobby R. Lowder; parents, Bill and Grace Hightower; brothers, Weldon and Dean Hightower; grandson, Tommy Brumley; granddaughter, Madison Maness; son-in-law, Cletus Patterson. Survived by children; Bobby R. Lowder Jr, Karen Wisdom, Suzanne and Javier Delao, Gwen and Reza Delavar, Ralph Lowder, Kim and Bob Carter, DeAnn and Kenneth Jones, Michael and Kate Lowder, grandchildren Patience Davis, Chance and Ashley Patterson, Staci and Cecil Mensch, Ryan and Brittney Janas, Kyle Janas, Nathan Lowder, Katherine and Wade Carter, Naomi Jones, Audra Walker, Bridgette Lowder, Frank Janas, Jr and Julia Janas; and great-grandchildren Mia, Javier, Brittney, Phoenix, Hayden, Charlie and Lexi, Josie Runyan, Jessica Runyan and Jackie Cavanaugh. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK. Graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Sunrise Cemetery, Kellyville, OK. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, 1208 S Main St, Sapulpa, OK.
