Catheryne Athas Angel passed away January 29, 2017 in Mabank, Texas. She was born July 24, 1916 in Dallas, Texas to Pete Athas and Aglaia Dinos Athas. She graduated from Draughon's Practical business college in 1944. Catheryne is preceded in death by her husband, James Angel; parents, Aglaia Dinos Athas and Pete Athas; brothers, Sam Athas, Nick Athas, Billy Athas and Angelo Athas; sister, Angeline Athas Psalidas and nephew, Jimmy Psalidas. She is survived by nephews, Thomas Athas, John Athas, Paul Athas, Nick Athas, Rocky Athas, Nickie Athas and niece, Sherri Athas Williams.There is more family she left behind to name. She will be dearly missed! Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 from 8:00 to 10:00 A.M., and will be followed by Funeral Services at 10:00 A.M., all in the chapel at The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 13555 Hillcrest Rd, Dallas, TX 75240.
