Bio

Harvey Jay Sladek, 86, of Thrall passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Harvey was born on June 19, 1937 in Thrall to Albert and Sophie Sladek. Harvey graduated from Thrall High School in 1955. He married Carolyn Johnson on November 25, 1962. To this marriage came three sons: Lesley Keith and Connie Sladek, Lynn David Sladek, and Leland Jay and Joan Sladek. Harvey was blessed with 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Elaine Gaida, and brother, Eugene Sladek. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Providence Funeral Home at 10am. Memorial contributions can be made to Emmanual Lutheran Church of Pflugerville or any charity of you choice.
