Henry Clay Martin was the son of Ulysses L. and Lizzie Martin. He married Dicy Inez Bateman Martin, the 3rd daughter and the 8th child of James Jefferson Bateman and Sarah Ann Barber Bateman, on Feb 18, 1906. They had twin daughters. Jean Wallace Bateman Family History
