HOUSTON - Alfons Peter Zissa, 92, passed away, Thursday, January 19, 2017. He was born August 1, 1924 in DeWitt Co. to the late John and Frances Caka Zissa. He served in the United States Army and was retired from Texas Brine Production Company in Houston. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Joe Zissa. Rosary 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jacob Koether officiating. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
