Albert Meissner, 80, passed Tuesday, January 17, 2017, in Stamford. Graveside services will be 11:00AM, Friday, January 20, 2017, in Hawley Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home. Born January 3, 1937 in Abilene, Albert was a son of the late Robert William and Emma Ella (Bontke) Meissner. He worked for the city of Anson as supervisor of the water plant for twenty years. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter (Melinda); and a grandson (Christopher Doty). Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Hanna of Abilene and Melanie Meissner of Abilene; three sons, Albert Meissner, Jr. of Abilene, George Meissner of Abilene and Robert Doty of Ovala; one brother, George Meissner of Abilene; two sisters, Mildred Bouton of Anson and Lucille Jacobson of Abilene; and seventeen grandchildren. Family Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2017, 6:00PM to 7:30PM at Adams-Graham Funeral Home.
