Parents: George Washington Clifton Husband: Hobert Blevins Martha Ann Blevins, 85, died Thursday in Johnston Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Wiley Wright, Kingsport, Tenn., Mrs. Curtis Grizzle, Lebanon, Mrs. Houston Rhoten, Johnson City, Tenn., and Mrs. Betty Clark, Miami, Fla.; three sons, Robert Lee Blevins, Kingsport, Tavis Blevins, St. Paul, and Everette Couch, Cleveland, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Vesta Rogers, Knoxville, Tenn.; 36 grandchildren 37 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Russell County Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Carter and the Rev. Martin Elswick officiating. Burial followed in Temple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Jobe, Gordon Browder, Gary Baird, Bobby Cannon, Marvin Hinkle, Guy Gilbert and Billy Boatwright. Russell County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
