Fort Bend Herald, January 17, 2017: Veronica Margaret Lev Horelica, 60, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Rosenberg. She was born November 18, 1956 the second born child of Daniel Anton Lev and Margaret Mary Anders Lev in Richmond. Veronica attended Holy Rosary Catholic School. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church which was the center of her life. She was a woman of strong faith and a wonderful example to her family and friends to witness the relationship she maintained with the Lord and his mother, Mary. Sundays were the highlight of her week. God first, then family. Veronica was a member of KJT Society 90, KJZT Society 77, and American Legion Post 271. Veronica graduated from Wharton County Junior College and the University of Houston. Veronica served 36+ years to Oak Bend Medical Center where nursing was her calling. During her career she had the honor and privilege to care for patients and working alongside other colleagues who were amazing people. Survivors include her father, Daniel Anton Lev, 3 children, Andrea Veronica Horelica, Sandra Margaret Alanis-Garza and husband Adrian Alejandro Alanis-Garza, and Rachel Joyce Horelica, 6 siblings, Patrick Lev and wife Kay, Paul Lev and wife Trichelle, Joseph Lev, Teresa Kuban and husband Donny, Thomas Lev Deanna and Jonathan Lev. Godchildren, Lynette Lev, Christopher Kuban , along with 29 nieces and nephews, 2 great nieces, 2 great nephews and many other loving family members and friends. Veronica was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Mary Anders Lev and brother Michael Lev. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, January 18, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with a Rosary at 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to help with medical and funeral expenses at, www.youcaring.com/veronicahorelica; also requests that donations can be made for masses in Veronica's name.
