Betty Margaret Langer, 75, of Palmer passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, in Dallas. Betty was born on November 8, 1930 in Ennis, Texas to Lee Roy and Mittie (Toal) Hurley. She graduated from Ennis High School in 1947. Betty retired from Agriculture Warehouse in 1994. She was a longtime member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who was always there to lend a helping hand. She is survived by son Joe Weatherford and his wife Ginger of Arlington; daughter, Becky Hubert and her husband John of Palmer; sister, Norma Robertson of Arlington; and brother Virgil Hurley and his wife Barbara of Ennis; three grandchildren, Tarrah Bell and her husband, Keith, Eric Hubert, and Julie Weatherford; two great grandchildren, J.L. Bell and Johnathan Bell; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roy Connlley Hurley. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Myrtle Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
