Bio

John Albert Vaughn passed away on January 10, 2017. John was born on April 15, 1937 in Wichita Falls, TX to John Howard Vaughn and Clara Vaughn. John was preceded in death by his parents, brother James, and sister Reba. He is survived by his wife Angie of forty years, and brother Ralph Vaughn. He was blessed to have many nieces and nephews that loved him. John would not want his furry babies to be forgotten. Lucy Ann, Koda Jade, and Beau Daniel will miss him forever. In John's younger years he joined the Navy but was honorably discharged to join the US Air Force. John worked for Braden Winch in Broken Arrow for thirty five years. After retiring from Braden Winch he worked as a security guard for eight years. The most important thing about John was that he loved to attend church. As a member of the First Assembly of God church in Sapulpa he served in several capacities. Anyone that knew John realized that he loved eagles. He looked at God's creation as being so majestic.
