Judy Overstreet, 72, of Denton passed away on January 6, 2017 in Denton. She was born on February 1, 1944 to Martin and Merle (Studley) Gilroy in St. Paul Nebraska. She was a teacher at D.I.S.D. and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Denton. She married Delbert Overstreet on February 10, 1996 in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her husband Delbert, daughters, Susan Simpson of Dallas, Texas and Michelle Mackenzie of Katy, Texas, sister Janet Mitchell of Bulverde, Texas, brother Ed Gilroy of Spalding, NE, and four grandchildren. Services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
