Bio
Lillie Mae Chaddick Meeks, 94, of Denver, Colorado and formerly of Dallas, Texas, left this world to meet her Lord on October 5, 2016. She was born May 24, 1922 in Parker, Texas and later moved to South Oak Cliff in the Dallas area, where she lived most of her life. In 1941 she married Frederick Meeks, with whom she got to celebrate 72 years of marriage. Lillie faithfully lived out God’s commandments to love the Lord with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano and was a long-time member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church. She had a lengthy career at Texas Instruments and also co-owned a cafeteria and a clothing store. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Meeks, her parents, Hugh and Ruby Lee Chaddick, four sisters and two brothers, and one great granddaughter. To those who knew her, she will remain an inspiration to live gratefully with loving-kindness to all. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
