Evelyn Templin Holt, age 89, of Italy, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Mansfield surrounded by her family. She was born April 5, 1927 in McKinney to Thomas William and Ada Lillie (Morris) Templin. Evelyn was a longtime resident of the Italy Community. She was baptized at age 10 with her Church of Christ family. She was a longtime member of the Italy Church of Christ.She married Lewis Holt on November 3, 1943. She retired from S. M. Dunlap Library in Italy as the library assistant. Evelyn loved all her grandchildren, the church garden, feeding her birds and anything natural. Visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 8 PM Monday December 5, 2016 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy. Funeral services will be 2PM Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Church of Christ in Italy.
