JoAnn Hughes Barron, wife of the late Paul Floyd Barron, Sr., entered into eternal rest Friday, January 6, 2017, Mrs. Barron was a native of Elmira, NY but lived in the Augusta area for some time. She was a devoted military wife and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who raised five children. Mrs. Barron enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid sports fan for the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Braves. She loved to read and watch sci-fi movies. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Barron was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth Hughes and grandson, Justin Orwen.
