Mr. William "Bill" Smith, 73, of Henderson, passed away January 5, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 2, 1943 in Ringgold, LA, to Charles Jeremiah and Hazel Elizabeth Bishop Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired Millwright for International Paper and after retirement he drove a log truck for Mike Robertson and Robert Porter. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and was also a 32nd Degree Master Mason. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Jeremiah and Hazel Elizabeth Bishop Smith; wife, Shirley Smith; sister, Mary Catherine Savage; and brother, Charles Jeremiah Smith, Jr. (Crawford A.
