Obituary for Maxine Vera Jacobs Maxine Vera Simpkins Jacobs passed away peacefully at her residence in Florence on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the age of 82. Visitation will be Saturday, January 7th from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Doug Farr officiating. Burial will be in Central Heights Community Cemetery. Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Simpkins; 3 brothers, Lyle, Gerald, and Morris Simpkins; 1 sister, Donna Hines; and 2 daughters, Geraldine Simpkins and Dianna Lynn Jacobs. Maxine is survived by her husband, Marion Jacobs; 2 sons, Marion Jacobs, Jr. and Daniel Jacobs; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Carrie Harris, Travis Jacobs, Justin Jacobs, Trevor Jacobs, Austin Jacobs, Nicole Banks, Jessica Jacobs, Cassidy Jacobs, Wyatt Jacobs, and Brittany Jacobs; 12 great-grandchildren, Annabella, Julliana, Jaydon, Haley, Sam, Noah, Jackson, Titus, Judah, Raygan, Silias, and Mason.
