Harry Louis Macik, 72, of Wied, passed away December 31, 2016. He was born on November 1, 1944 to Frank J. & Vlasta Kubala Macik in Seymour, Texas. He married Vernell Ohnheiser on November 28, 1968 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg. He was a veteran in the US Army; member of KJT, Catholic Life, Knights of Columbus #2433, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Harry was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Alfred & Florine Ohnheiser; brother, Edward J. Macik; and brother-in-law, James Ohnheiser. Funeral Mass Service: 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 p.m., Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home with Rosary at 7 p.m. Officiant: Msgr.
