Bio

Barbara Reisdorff, age 79, of Shelby died Friday, December 30, 2016 at Morys Haven. Barbara was born September 22, 1937 in Shelby, Nebraska to Pearle and Mildred (Dickhute) Coffin. She received her education in Shelby and graduated from Shelby High in 1955. She married Jerome Reisdorff on December 30, 1957 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby. They lived in Norfolk before returning to Shelby. Along with raising her family, Barb drove a school bus for several years for Shelby Public Schools. She later worked at Nied's Grocery before retiring. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, traveling, going to the casinos and spending time with her family. Barb is survived by husband: Jerome Reisdorff of Shelby son: Greg (Mary) Reisdorff of Lincoln son: Brad Reisdorff of Shelby daughter: Anita Reisdorff of Lincoln daughter: Brenda (Jay) Marxsen of Columbus son: Rod ( Kelly) Reisdorff of Columbus 10 grandchildren 6 Great grandsons sister: Janice (Paul) Ogles of Waterford. MI sister: Sharon Pallas of Columbus sister: Mimi(Mike)Davis of Wray, CO She was preceded in death by her parents: Pearle and Mildred Coffin, stepmother: Margaret Coffin, brother: Wayne Coffin, sister: Carolyn Miksch.
