Bio
Charles Edward Ward, age 84, died January 10, 2007 at Rogers, Arkansas. He was born April 29, 1922 in Findley, Illinois, the son of Andrew Francis "Andy" and Flossie Kathryn (Ellington) Ward. He and Dorothy L. Poe were married June 2, 1946. He was a U. S. Army Veteran with five Bronze Stars. He owned Wards Bakery for several years, he was a Cook for Harris Hotel in Rogers and a cook for Harris Bakery at Rogers. He was a member of VFW and the American Legion. He was a member of Downtown Church of Christ. He enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. He was predeceased by his parents; and a daughter, Doris Marie Ward. Survivors include his wife; a son, Charles Keith Ward of Lake Butler, Florida; a daughter, Linda Sue Davis of Fayetteville; a brother, James Kenneth Ward of Hogeye and a sister, Vivian Lawson of Rogers.
