Fort Bend Herald, July 7, 2009: Services for Bettye Zinsmeyer, 82, of Needville, TX, will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel, 1201 4th St. Rosenberg, TX, with Rev. Byron Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Rosenberg City Cemetery. Visitation will be 5PM-7PM Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, 1201 4th St. Rosenberg, TX 77471. Bettye Zinsmeyer was born July 8, 1926 to Hanness and Elsie Bolin. She died July 2, 2009 at Oak Bend Medical Center in Richmond, TX. Mrs. Zinsmeyer was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing canasta, and loved all sports. She is survived by two daughters, Joy Lou Dzierzanowski and husband, Bruno, and Lisa Zatopek and husband, Marvin; grandchildren, Davi Padon, Lou Padon, Emili Phillips and husband, Blake, Wade Dzierzanowski, and Haylee Zatopek; great-grandchildren, Tyler Phillips and Ethan Phillips; brother, Brent Bolin; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Mrs. Zinsmeyer was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ervin "Dutch" Zinsmeyer; brother, James "Uncle Bubba" Bolin; and sister, Holly Terrebonne.
