After their marriage they homesteaded at Wessington Springs and two years later moved to Charles Mix County. In 1910, they moved to Bowman county, N.D., and a year later to Polk county, Wis., living there for five years. At that time they returned to Charles Mix County. Mr. Ruble died in 1942. Since that time Mrs. Ruble had made her home at Hot Springs. She was a member of the Methodist church and the Spanish American Auxiliary. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. H. J. Van Metre, Fairmont Minn.; Mrs. Jessie Smith, Sioux Falls; Mrs. William Mach, Wagner, Mrs. Alvin Meyer, Litchfield, Minn. and Mrs. Gifford Lighthill, Valentine, Nebr.; three sons, Wayne, Donald and George, Waseca, Minn.; 23 grandchildren; a brother, H.E.
