Ord, Neb., July 10 - Ernest Burson, a young farmer living ten miles southwest of Ord, was killed Sunday when his horse fell on him. He was driving a bull from one lot to another and had just got him through the gate when the bull charged the horse. When the animals collided, Mr. Burson fell from the saddle, striking on his face. A moment later the horse fell over on him. The accident occurred in full view of his wife. When picked up he was still alive, but unconscious, and a doctor's examination showed most of his ribs broken, his lungs crushed and his stomach punctured. It was impossible to do anything for him. The accident occurred at 9:30 Sunday morning and he died at 7 o'clock the same evening. Ernest was the youngest of the Burson boys, and was well and favorably known here. He was nineteen years of age and had been married but a short time. He had a foreboding of trouble and twice within a week had spoken of the uncertainty of life. The funeral occurred yesterday.
