Bridgeport ~ Joe Orsak, 72, a retired Special Ed teacher, went to be with our Lord Monday, December 19, 2016 in Bridgeport. Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at West Bridgeport Cemetery. No visitation. Joe was born on February 22, 1944 to John and Martha (Baca) Orsak in Seymour, Texas. He was united in marriage to Margaret Smith on August 9, 1968 in Canyon, Texas. Joe earned his Bachelors Degree in Education and a post graduate Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences from Midwestern State University. He taught Special Ed for more than 40 years. He served on the city council in Carrizozo, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Margaret Orsak of Bridgeport; his brother, John Wayne Orsak and wife Leslie of Denton; his sisters-in-law, Betty Hawkins of Garland, Nancy Reed and husband Marion of Garland, Gabby Smith of Fairfax, Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
