Bio

Dorothy “Dot” Margaret Layne , 86, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, in Nashville TN. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church Joelton and an avid seamstress. She is survived by her sister Billie Kilgore 88 (Fort Worth, TX); children Edward (Paula) Layne, Michael (Kimberlee) Layne, and Susan (Mike) Francen, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held at Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21st from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again on Thursday, December 22nd at First Baptist Church Joelton from 9 A.M. until the hour of Service at 10am, with Bro. David Royalty officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Franklin TN. Anderson and Garrett Funeral Home, Joelton, TN
